Joel has been tattooing for a little over 6 years now. He enjoys working with fine line and small detailed designs but is always happy to work with whatever style, ideas and concepts his clients are considering.
“my first time getting tattooed wasn’t a very good one, I knew early on in my career that I wanted to be able to offer my clients a better experience. I wanted people to come back not only for the artwork but for the whole tattoo process, it’s daunting enough deciding to get a tattoo, so I strive to make my clients feel involved and as comfortable as possible with the whole process, from booking to getting the tattoo completed”
His art Journey started with an art degree at La Trobe Uni, it wasn’t until he finished his degree that he found his love for tattoo art. Shortly after completing his degree, he started a tattoo apprenticeship in Victoria and finished it In Alberta, Canada where he lived for 5 years. Joel has been working in the industry full time since then.
Joel enjoys the challenge of working within the constructs of the client’s ideas, the constant variations each day also helps drive his creativity and allow him to challenge himself day in day out.
In his time off he enjoys traveling with his family and various “nerd” hobbies.
