Scott started at 1891 Original Tattoo Co. in 2018 as an apprentice under Dan Millar and has since grown into a vital member of the team. He attributes his audacious, friendly, outgoing nature and positive outlook on life to his early exposure to many cultures and lifestyles while travelling young.
Scott has always been inspired by Japanese culture and art, which has influenced many aspects of his life, including cars, fashion and cuisine. When he is not in the 1891 studio, Scott enjoys working on cars, spending time with his family and writing music. Currently, he is writing and performing with his band Emecia. Having toured throughout Australia and abroad, the band has not only allowed him to meet new people but also functions as another outlet for his art.
Influenced by Alex Pardee (visual artist for The Used) and Bert McCracken (The Used) for both art and music, Scott pursued a career in tattooing to be more creative and to find a proper purpose and lifestyle. Finding fulfilment in creating custom pieces for clients who have put their trust in him to do his thing. His fundamental motivation is to grow as an artist, have fun and build a solid career in the industry. His favoured style is self-described as Pop Culture influenced in a New School Kawaii aesthetic.
